Terms of Service
Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using Our Service.
1.0 Interpretation
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions.
The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
2.0 Definitions
"Site" means the software program provided by the Company accessed by You on any electronic device, named kammeko.
"Service" refers to the Site.
A “User” is anyone who uses the Site.
A "Member" is a registered User of the Site who has given consent to this Agreement and to the Privacy Policy of the Site.
"Account" means a unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service, after giving consent to this Agreement and to the Privacy Policy of the Site.
"Company" (referred to as either "Kammeko", "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to kammeko k.k., 1-6-5 Jinnan, Shibuya City, The Hive Jinnan Bldg, Tokyo 150-0041.
"Content" refers to content such as text, images, or other information that can be posted, uploaded, linked to or otherwise made available by You, or The Company regardless of the form of that content.
The "Program" (also referred as "Kammeko Program") refers to the Service.
A "Vendor" (referred to as either "Partner Vendor", "Kammeko Vendor", or "Partner" in this Agreement) is a location of a business registered on the Site, that may sell goods and services, and has agreed to participate in the Program.
"You" means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
"Stamps" are digital tokens that You can earn by completing actions associated with an environmentally-friendly behavior, as specified by the Site.
"Challenges" are Stamps collection tiers defined on the Site upon which a Member is granted a Reward.
"Rewards" are coupons that can be earned after the completion of Stamps collection tiers, or Challenges, and can be used in Eligible Vendors.
"Feedback" means feedback, innovations or suggestions sent by You regarding the attributes, performance or features of our Service.
"Terms and Conditions" (also referred as "Terms", "Rules" or "Program Rules") mean these Terms and Conditions that form the entire agreement between You and the Company regarding the use of the Service.
3.0 Application of this Agreement
These are the Terms and Conditions governing the use of this Service and the agreement that operates between You and the Company. These Terms and Conditions set out the rights and obligations of all users regarding the use of the Service.
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on Your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If You disagree with any part of these Terms and Conditions then You may not access the Service.
Your access to and use of the Service is also conditioned on Your acceptance of and compliance with the Privacy Policy of the Company. Our Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your personal information when You use the Site and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You. Please read Our Privacy Policy carefully before using Our Service.
4.0 User Accounts
It is mandatory to create an Account with Us in order to use the Service. To create an account You need to give consent to this Agreement and our Privacy Policy.
When You create an account with Us, You must provide Us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of Your account on Our Service.
You are responsible for safeguarding the password that You use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under Your password, whether Your password is with Our Service or a Third-Party Social Media Service.
You agree not to disclose Your password to any third party. You must notify Us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of Your account.
Individuals under 13 years of age cannot register to the Service. You may not register as a representative of someone else. Those who have had their Account suspended or revoked previously for violating this Agreement, those who have falsified their registration information, or those who are deemed as unfit for the Site may be refused registration.
5.0 Stamps
1. Earning stamps
The Rewards that are available to you through the Kammeko Program are based on the number and type of Stamps that you collect.
Unless mentioned otherwise on the Site, Stamps can be earned by purchasing eligible items in Vendors, under the following conditions:
Stamps can be collected for purchases of over ¥500 (tax included).
Stamps can be earned for each transaction you make at Our Vendors. If you purchase goods that are eligible for several Stamp types, you will earn them in one collection. If You are purchasing at once several goods that are eligible for the same Stamp Type, You will collect that Stamp once.
2. Stamps types
Stamps are associated with environmentally-friendly shopping behavior. For now, the Kammeko Program includes the following Stamps, collectible based on the following guidelines:
Organic: purchasing products that are produced organically
Plant-based: purchasing plant-based options instead of animal-based products
Bulk: purchasing in bulk, instead of packaged goods
Plastic free: purchasing products that are made of natural material instead of plastic
My Cup: purchasing a beverage to-go in a reusable cup
These guidelines and their interpretation may vary depending on Vendors.
3. Exclusions to earning stamps; participating stores only
You may not earn Stamps in connection with certain types of beta or promotional programs, or when redeeming a Kammeko Reward for the same transaction.
Stamps may be earned at participating Kammeko Vendors stores only, and not all Stamp types can be collected in all Vendors. Vendors have the ability to award certain Stamps types only, in accordance with their sustainability efforts, the environmental qualities of their products and services, and in agreement with the Company.
You can not collect multiple times the same Stamp type for one transaction. If You are purchasing at once several goods that are eligible for the same Stamp Type, You will collect that Stamp once.
Taxes, tips, donations, and fees, including without limitation, shipping and handling fees, gift-wrapping fees, delivery fees, and bag fees, also may be excluded and ineligible for Stamps accrual.
We, and the Vendors, reserve the right to exclude certain products, product lines, or services from the kammeko Program scheme.
4. Issues with Stamps collection
Send Us an email describing the issue at hello@kammeko.com within ten (10) days of the purchase, and attach the photo of an itemized receipt of your purchase. Without such receipt We can not verify the purchase and You might not be able to collect your stamps.
To avoid any misunderstanding, we advise that Members ask the staff at the Vendor which items are eligible, and which Stamps will be collected for a given transaction prior to making a purchase.
5. Other important things to know about stamps
Stamps cannot be exchanged for cash.
Stamps are not transferable.
Please contact the Vendors directly for returns or refunds on previous purchases. Return Policies may vary amongst Vendors. If you void a purchase, Kammeko may deduct the Stamps that you earned for that purchase.
6.0 Rewards
1. Earning Rewards; Challenges
Unless explicitly mentioned otherwise on the Site, Rewards are coupons that can be used in eligible Vendors for a purchase of over ¥500 (tax included).
Rewards can be earned after the completion of Stamps collection tiers, or Challenges. The requirement to complete a Challenge, and the Reward associated upon completion, are as expressed in the Challenge Page of the Site.
Challenges are not mutually exclusive, which means that collecting one stamp can help you to progress on or complete several challenges at a time.
Note that the Rewards available and Challenges may vary, and that Kammeko may adjust the Stamps requirement and Reward included in each Challenge at any time in its sole discretion.
Kammeko may introduce new Challenges, or stop existing Challenges at any time in its sole discretion, without prior notice, which might affect Your progress towards a Reward.
2. Redeeming Rewards
Before a Reward can be redeemed, it has to be claimed on the Site. To claim a Reward, go to the list of Challenges. Challenges that are completed and whose associated rewards can be claimed appear at the top of the page. Click on the "Claim my reward" button. This actions will trigger a confirmation page, and the Reward will appear in the Rewards list page.
You can then redeem your Rewards during the checkout process at an eligible Vendor.
To redeem a Reward, ask the Vendor staff to use a kammeko Reward prior to making a purchase. Open the page of the Reward on the Site, and show it to the Vendor. Click on the "Redeem reward" button; this action will open the code scanner of the Site. The Vendor staff will display a QR code that you can scan with the scanner. Scanning the QR code with your scanner will redeem your Reward permanently and it will not be available for use again. After the scanning is completed, the Site will display a confirmation screen including the Vendor's name and the day's date. Show this confirmation screen to the Vendor's staff, and it will be manually applied to your purchase.
3. Rewards redemption availability may vary; participating Kammeko Vendors only
Not all Kammeko Vendor Stores have the ability to honor Rewards redemption. The vendors eligible to allocate a given Reward are displayed on the Site, on the Reward's page.
You may not redeem Rewards in connection with certain types of beta or promotional programs. You cannot redeem multiple Rewards within a single order.
Additionally, the items available for redemption of each Reward may vary, and We, and the Vendors, reserve the right to exclude certain products, product lines, or services from the Reward redemption.
4. Other important things to know about Rewards
Rewards are valid for a thirty (30) days period after they are earned. After this period, the reward will disappear from the Site, and can not be redeemed anymore.
Rewards cannot be exchanged for cash.
Rewards may not be redeemed by anyone other than the Member, and are not transferable.
Please contact the Vendors directly for returns or refunds on previous purchases. Return Policies may vary amongst Vendors. If you void a purchase made using a Kammeko Reward, the Rewards amount may not be refunded.
7.0 Account termination
1. Account termination by the Member
Members may apply to terminate their Account by contacting Kammeko. Once the termination procedures are completed, the Account is considered terminated. Information connected to previous behavior linked to your Account may remain on the Site.
2. Account termination or suspension by the Company
We may terminate or suspend Your Account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if You breach these Terms and Conditions.
Upon termination, Your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
Accounts that are inactive for a period of 12 consecutive months will be considered dormant accounts and may be deleted without notice.
3. Effect of Account termination
The Kammeko Program, Stamps, Challenges, Rewards, and other related benefits and services are the sole property of the Company, and are not the property of Members. On termination of their Account in the Program for any reason, all collected Stamps, ongoing or completed Challenges, and unredeemed Rewards, will be forfeited and a Member will no longer be able to participate in the Program. Stamps and Rewards have no cash value and the Company will not compensate or pay cash for any forfeited or unused Rewards.
If the Company terminates a Member’s Account for any reason, the Member may not reapply for membership in the Program except in very limited circumstances at Company’s sole discretion, and any Account opened in the Member’s name and Stamps collected, Challenges completed, and Rewards earned in that Account will be forfeited upon discovery.
If a Member cancels his/her Account, the Member may reapply for an Account in the Program at a later date, but no Stamps collected, Challenges completed, and Rewards accumulated previously forfeited or expired will be reinstated to the Member Account.
8.0 Modification of Program
The Company has the right to change, limit, modify or cancel the Program Rules, Stamps, Challenges, and Rewards at any time, with or without notice, even though such changes may affect the value of Rewards, or the ability to collect certain Stamps or obtain certain Rewards.
The Company and Partner Programs may, among other things:
Modify the conditions of Stamps collection, increase or decrease the number and type of Stamps collectible for a purchase.
Create, suppress, or modify Stamp Types.
Modify the amount and Type of stamps necessary to complete a Challenge.
Create or cancel Challenges.
Withdraw, limit, modify or cancel any Rewards.
9.0 Suspension, Alteration, or Abolishment of the Service
Kammeko may suspend, alter, or abolish part or the entirety of any of the services of the Site at our discretion, and we are in no way liable for any resulting damages, such as in the following cases:
When we judge that it is necessary to suspend any of the services of the Site due to system maintenance, system failure, natural disaster, or other technical or operational reasons.
When we renew or change the design of a service.
When we judge that it is necessary to stop or interrupt any of the services of the Site.
A Member may not accumulate Stamps or redeem Rewards, after the termination of the Program.
At the Company’s sole discretion, the Company may choose to substitute a similar loyalty program for the Kammeko Program at any time immediately upon notice to active Members.
If the Program is terminated, all accumulated Stamps and unredeemed Rewards will be forfeited without any obligation or liability.
10.0 Kammeko's Liability Limitations
Kammeko connects Users and Vendors and is in no way liable for conflicts among these parties.
Kammeko is in no way liable for damage to equipment (such as telecommunication lines and computers) resulting from system suspension, delay, or stoppage; data loss; damages resulting from unauthorized access to data; or other damages resulting from the use of any of the services of the Site. This shall not apply in the case of malicious intent or gross negligence on the part of Kammeko.
Kammeko provides information as appropriate and also advice to Users, but we are in no way liable for the information or advice in question.
Kammeko is in no way liable for any damages resulting from a User violating this Agreement.
Kammeko is in no way liable for the contents of its pages, place pages, user pages, and user generated contents provided by this Site or by any of the services of the Site. However, in the case of an issue between Users, Kammeko will appropriately handle the issue in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.
Kammeko is in no way liable for any damages caused by a User's inability to use any of the services of the Site.
Kammeko in no way guarantees that Members will purchase products or services via the services of the Site, that the products or services will meet the expectations of Members, or that Members will find the products or services useful.
Kammeko is in no way liable for any damages resulting from product or service delays, inaccurate product or service information, or inaccurate information provided by Vendors.
11.0 Prohibited Acts
Violating the law, this Agreement, warnings from Kammeko about use of the Site, or any other agreements.
Interfering with the functionality of the Site and its services.
Providing false or inaccurate information when creating an Account.
Actions that harm Kammeko or a third party, and actions that harm the rights, property, or reputation of Kammeko or a third party.
Actions that negatively affect the physical and mental well-being of others or threaten public order and standards of decency.
Posting any information that is abusive, racially, sexually, and/or religiously threatening.
Using or distributing malicious computer files, such as viruses, or e-mails.
Using another Member's Account without their permission.
Leasing, giving, or sharing a username and password to/with a third party.
Reproduction, transmission, or distribution of all or part of any provided information to a third party without the permission of Kammeko.
Harassing, abusing, or harming other Users of Kammeko services.
Attempting to collect Stamps without completing the necessary purchases or actions defined in this agreement.
Attempting to redeem Rewards without complying with the necessary conditions defined in this agreement.
Using the Site or services for any unlawful intentions.
Other acts that Kammeko deems inappropriate.
12.0 Handling of User Information
Personal information distributed to any of the services of the Site or acquired from Users is managed by Kammeko according to Kammeko’s Privacy Policy, and Users of the Site have agreed to the terms of the Privacy Policy. Kammeko uses personal information for the purpose of improving the quality of service for its Users.
13.0 Modification or Removal of Content
Kammeko reserves the right to modify and/or remove any content, such as content related to Vendors Accounts, on the Site when deemed appropriate.
14.0 Content Backups
Although regular backups of Content are performed, Kammeko do not guarantee there will be no loss or corruption of data.
Corrupt or invalid backup points may be caused by, without limitation, Content that is corrupted prior to being backed up or that changes during the time a backup is performed.
Kammeko will provide support and attempt to troubleshoot any known or discovered issues that may affect the backups of Content. But You acknowledge that the Company has no liability related to the integrity of Content or the failure to successfully restore Content to a usable state.
15.0 Your Feedback to Us
You assign all rights, title and interest in any Feedback You provide the Company. If for any reason such assignment is ineffective, You agree to grant the Company a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty free, worldwide right and licence to use, reproduce, disclose, sub-licence, distribute, modify and exploit such Feedback without restriction.
16.0 Links to Other Websites
Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by the Company.
The Company has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that the Company shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.
We strongly advise You to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that You visit.
17.0 "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" Disclaimer
The Service is provided to You "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" and with all faults and defects without warranty of any kind, unless we are found to be intentionally or grossly negligent. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, the Company, on its own behalf and on behalf of its Affiliates and its and their respective licensors and service providers, expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, with respect to the Service, including all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and warranties that may arise out of course of dealing, course of performance, usage or trade practice. Without limitation to the foregoing, the Company provides no warranty or undertaking, and makes no representation of any kind that the Service will meet Your requirements, achieve any intended results, be compatible or work with any other software, applications, systems or services, operate without interruption, meet any performance or reliability standards or be error free or that any errors or defects can or will be corrected.
Without limiting the foregoing, neither the Company nor any of the company's provider makes any representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied: (i) as to the operation or availability of the Service, or the information, content, and materials or products included thereon; (ii) that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free; (iii) as to the accuracy, reliability, or currency of any information or content provided through the Service; or (iv) that the Service, its servers, the content, or e-mails sent from or on behalf of the Company are free of viruses, scripts, trojan horses, worms, malware, timebombs or other harmful components.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain types of warranties or limitations on applicable statutory rights of a consumer, so some or all of the above exclusions and limitations may not apply to You. But in such a case the exclusions and limitations set forth in this section shall be applied to the greatest extent enforceable under applicable law.
18.0 Changes to these Terms
The Company reserves the right to change these Terms of Use without the need for the User's individual consent in the following cases. In this case, the Company will notify the User in advance of the change to the Terms and Conditions, the content of the changed Terms and Conditions and the effective date of the change.
the amendment is in the general interest of the User
the change in the Terms of Use does not conflict with the purpose of the Service Agreement and is reasonable in light of the necessity of the change, the reasonableness of the content after the change, and other circumstances related to the change
19.0 Governing Law
The laws of the Country, excluding its conflicts of law rules, shall govern this Terms and Your use of the Service. Your use of the Application may also be subject to other local, state, national, or international laws.
20.0 Disputes Resolution
If You have any concern or dispute about the Service, You agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the Company.
